Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the can cleaning process take?

Initial cleanings take 2 to 3 minutes.

What forms of payment do you accept?

You can book on our site using credit cards or PayPal. We can take cash in person on site at the time of cleaning.

Why is a One Time Call Out Cleaning more expensive?

Our team works based off scheduled cleanings to follow trash pickup routes. Scheduled cleanings require less time and water because they are done on a regular basis as a preventative maintenance. A One Time Call Out Cleaning is unsheduled and will disrupt the routes and memberships of pre-paid clients.

How often do you recommend I have my trash can cleaned?

Cajun Can Cleaners recommends a monthly cleaning schedule to ensure the removal of bacteria and allows for your cans to be continuously sanitized, however depending on what goes into your can you may need a more frequent cleaning option.

Do I have to be home in order for my trash cans to be cleaned?

Cajun Can Cleaners does not require clients to be home for the cleaning process. After trash pickup we will thoroughly clean the inside and outside of your can.

Where will my trash can be after it gets cleaned?

Your trash can will be rolled in from the curbside and placed near your house or garage, we will not open gates or enter backyards.

Will chemicals be used to clean my trash can?

Regular scheduled cleanings will not require any chemicals because we use high pressure, 200-degree water. For initiaal cleanings, if chemicals are required, we will use 100% eco-friendly, biodegradable chemicals to get the tough stuff out.
